Recent Installation of Thermomax Solar and Palazzetti Pellet Stove

Carbery Heating Services recently installed a new 30 tube Kingspan Thermomax hot-water system and a 15kw Palazzetti “Marta” central heating pellet stove.

The hot water system involved removing existing small copper cylinder and installed a 300l horizontal cylinder in a new location beneath the stairs, While a horizontal cylinder may not perform quite as good as a standard cylinder the space freed up now by having the cylinder out of the way means that the bedroom has space for a wardrobe.

Also included in this installation is the new palazzetti ecofire Marta central heating stove.

This is a beautifully made stove with a new controller and new heat ex-changer design which ensure a high efficiency of over 95% with an automatic combustion control which can compensate for changes in the draft in the chimney. We installed a 100mm flexible stainless steel flue liner in the existing chimney and added a heating control package to allow the customers to choose which area of the house to heat. The customer is able to avail of a grant for the hot water system and the heating  controls upgrade.
